    Project Summary

    Prospect Hill is a scheme of apartments and townhouses that was originally completed circa 2007. Block 9, a group of 28 units, was never occupied and had degraded through age, vandalism and water damage.

    The units, two-bed apartments beneath three-bed duplex townhouses, required upgrades to their mechanical and electrical installations, fire proofing upgrades, new doors, tiling, replacement kitchens and wardrobes, floor finishes and decorations. External landscaping, tiling and finishing works to a car park and access road were also part of the project. Replacement glazing was required throughout while a furniture fit-out was carried out in parallel with the works. Additional firestopping requirements arose during the course of the works and were incorporated into the project. The units were brought to habitable standards and taken over and occupied by tenants of a social housing organisation.

    • This project was carried out for a receiver and originated through NAMA
    • A tight three-month timeframe was demanded for the works

    We were delighted to have been the appointed builders of this award winning two-storey contemporary mews on Raglan Lane in Dublin 4.

    This proved to be a challenging build due to the restrictive nature of the site, sandwiched between two other buildings on a narrow laneway and required a sensitive response. The result is a lovely light filled house, with internal glass clad courtyards and seamless paving from internal though to external spaces.

    This exclusive small development is located in a quiet and hidden mews lane off the leafy areas of Dublin 4. It was a great little project to be involved in, consisting of two three-storey mews houses and three luxury apartments.

    Working on a high quality development is always a joy and this project was no exception. We are proud of the exceptional high quality materials and of the finishes throughout this build, from the external stone and timber cladding to the internal joinery and sharp clean lines of steel and glass.  Dealing with excavation problems and ensuring the security and protection of neighbouring houses

    • Due to the scale of the basement excavation, a contigious pile wall was constructed to support the neighbouring house and kingpost system was used on the remainder.
