Lissadell is a traditional main contracting firm with a hands-on management style employing our own direct labour on projects. Our experience as main contractor includes:

We operate from foundations to turn-key handover in our projects and carry out structural interventions, drainage, groundworks, block, brick, steel and timber finishes, joinery, craft skills, re-pointing, plastering, fire safety, mechanical and electrical services installations. Our on-site and management teams are skilled and experienced in a wide range of construction activities.

Project Manager

As project managers we provide project planning, coordination, and management services from contractor appointment to project completion. We use relevant industry IT to enhance our management services such as Asta Power Project programming software and Buildsoft Estimating systems.

We enjoy good working relationships with clients, their design teams and end users and remain responsive to their needs and requirements throughout each project. Day to day demands are all part of the project management offering:

PSCS

As PSCS, we assume the safety supervisor role from the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) into the construction stage as set out in The Safety Health and Welfare at Work Regulations (Construction) 2013. Working seamlessly with the PSDP we will develop the safety plan prior to work commencing and we will organise co-operation and co-ordinate the implementation of the general principles of prevention. We will also fulfil PSCS duties by providing necessary information during the project and co-ordinating measures to maintain the implementation of safety measures throughout. As PSCS we will also collate relevant data and information for inclusion in the Safety File for client reference.

Conservation

Building Heritage and conservation projects require a management team with experience, specialist knowledge and a sensitive approach aligned with a skilled and experienced workforce.  Lissadell has been involved with heritage projects for most of its existence and has worked alongside many of the preeminent conservation experts practising in Ireland on some of our most prized historic buildings.

Buildings such as Kilmainham Courthouse, the National Monument at 14-17 Moore Street, No.6 Kildare Street, Bishops Palace Kilkenny and Rathfarnham Castle are just some of the historic buildings we have had the opportunity to work on.

We provide a broad sweep of services on these projects such as:

Fire Remediation

Our management and personnel have undertaken training with International Fire Consultants to ensure that we have the up to date skills and knowledge required to monitor and carry out fire remediation work. Our training also ensures that we have the information to know when and where to look for the right answer to challenging situations often prevalent in buildings today.

Every project we undertake includes an element of passive fire protection. This can include the full gamut of fire protection measures including installation of fire rated partitions, passive fire stopping, fitting of cavity barriers and fire doors, and facilitating the M&E side of fire protection services.
